About medical advertising guidelines

Compliance with medical advertising guidelines

Sando Helene Clinic creates and operates a website that complies with the "Medical Advertising Guidelines" enacted and revised by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in June 2018

What are the Medical Advertising Guidelines?

These are guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare regarding advertising by medical institutions
These guidelines aim to convey accurate and objective information

Do not attract customers through discount campaigns, etc

We do not attract customers by offering extreme discounts that may impair the patient's ability to make informed decisions. Patients are required to undergo treatment only after they have fully consented and understood the terms and conditions

Major side effects and risks are clearly stated

To allow patients to fully consider the treatment, we will list not only the benefits of the treatment but also the associated side effects and risks. During counseling, doctors will provide detailed explanations

Do not process case photos

We will not use edited photos that may lead to a false impression of the effectiveness of the treatment

Clarifying the treatment process

To ensure that patients fully understand the treatment process, we have listed the steps from start to finish on the following page. We will also provide detailed explanations during consultations until patients fully understand
