The first test should be conducted at a testing agency designated by the Chinese Embassy/Consulate General in Japan, and within 2 days before boarding, please complete the sample collection and test and obtain a double negative certificate in the specified format. 3. When departing from a third country (region) and going to China via Japan
Currently, there are no PCR test or IgM antibody test booths in the transit area of Japanese airports, and transit passengers are prohibited from leaving the airport and undergoing tests in Japan. If you are planning to transit or transit in Japan, please review your itinerary and try to go to China by direct flight as much as possible. In the unlikely event that you need to transit or transit in Japan due to special circumstances, please apply for a Japanese visa at the Japanese embassy or consulate general in your departure city, and be sure to follow the quarantine measures for 14 days after entering Japan. After the quarantine period ends, you will be inspected and boarded in the same way as if you were going to China on a direct flight.
4. Notes
(1) If you plan to travel to China, please carefully read this notice and ≪Q&A regarding boarding by presenting a double-negative certificate≫ and prepare for your trip.
