December 1, 2020 , Chinese and foreign passengers traveling from Japan to China will be required to obtain a double negative certificate by taking a negative COVID-19 PCR test and a serum-specific IgM antibody test (hereinafter referred to as the antibody test) within two days prior to boarding ( counting from the date of sample collection ). Then, with the double negative certificate, you can apply for a green health code with the "HS" or "HDC" mark at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in Japan, and board the plane within the code's validity period. Please note that the previous method of boarding with a paper negative certificate will no longer be valid from December 1 (including December 1). Details are as follows:
1, inspection requirements
Within two days boarding sample collection and testing will be performed once for each test , and you must obtain a double negative certificate ( paper form the format designated by the Embassy or Consulate-General

For example, if you take the test (sample collection) on December 1st, your flight must not be later than December 3rd (all day). Conversely, if your flight is on December 3rd, the earliest sample collection date is December 1st (all day).
2. How to apply for and receive a health code
(1) Chinese passengers
For Chinese nationals, after obtaining the double negative certificate, they should immediately open the "International Version of the Epidemic Prevention Health Code" WeChat mini-program or online version, select the double testing institution they went to, enter their health status, and finally upload the double negative certificate. After confirmation by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate-General in Japan, they will be able to obtain a green health code with the "HS" mark
(2) Foreign passengers
If you are a foreign national, after obtaining the double negative certificate, please immediately register an account on the website ( https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ ) or via the QR code below, select the double testing institution where you underwent the test, enter your health status, etc., and finally upload the double negative certificate. After confirmation by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in Japan, you will be able to obtain a green health code with the "HDC" mark.
3. Precautions
(1) Starting December 1st, Narita Airport PCR Center departing from Japan . Please note that the center will be closed prior to December 1st. If you wish to use the center, please make sure to make a reservation at least two days in advance via the center's official website or by phone. When making a reservation, be sure to inform the center that you will need a double negative certificate in the format specified by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General.
(2) In order to reduce the risk of infection during travel, the Embassy and Consulate-General in Japan will not, in principle, issue health codes to passengers departing from Japan and travelling to China via a third country (region). We ask that you visit China by direct flight
(3) Currently, Japanese airports do not offer PCR or antibody testing services for transit and connecting passengers. Therefore, please note that you cannot transit or transfer in Japan if your final destination is China. Any issues that arise during transit or transfer (such as being held up at the airport or being deported) are your own responsibility
(4) The Embassy and Consulate General in Japan will require passengers to enter factual personal information and provide factually valid PCR and antibody test results. If passengers intentionally conceal their illness or provide false test results, they will be held legally responsible. After the test, please refrain from going out as much as possible
(5) Since it takes a certain amount of time for the Embassy/Consulate General to check your health code, please upload your double negative certificate by 8:00 p.m. the day before your flight to ensure a smooth boarding process. Passengers traveling on flights before December 1st must bring both the original and a copy of the double negative certificate with them. There is no need to apply for a health code. We ask for your cooperation in allowing the Embassy/Consulate General to check your health code promptly
(6) It is recommended that you carry the original copy of the double negative certificate with you when boarding
